The concentrator will communicate with the Electricity meter devices installed at the consumer service points, and it will be used for Automatic meter management of the meters by collecting the Energy Data and it will be used to control the meters by sending different configuration or commands.
The concentrator includes different security features of:
- Secure boot
- Authentication, Data encryption and data signing
- Root of Trust, and digital certificates
- Secure firmware upgrade
The concentrator will be installed in the electricity grid kiosks to communicate with the consumer Electricity meter and collect the needed data then send them to the Head End System HES (server side) through REST or SOAP interface.
